José Ginarte is a Cuban-American visuals director, producer, editor and writer drawing on over ten years of experience in the editorial and advertising sides of the photography industry.

Recently, he was the Visuals Director of Bon Appétit, where he led a team of photo editors and photographers working on both the monthly print edition of the magazine and bonappetit.com. His work has been recognized by the American Society of Magazine Editors, the Society of Publication Designers, American Photography and the Clio Awards, and has been featured in It’s Nice That, CNN's Pictures of the Year and PDN.

In his spare time, he plays the drums for the bands Hushpuppy and Swaai Boys.
